Objectives: WP3 - Wheat rhizosphere microbiome and wheat gene expression

  • Understanding structural and compositional diversity of the wheat rhizosphere microbiome as affected by the pre-crop history and its association/correlation with wheat yield decline in wheat crop rotations
  • Exploring the impact of rhizosphere microbiome on wheat gene expression and gene regulation
  • Identifying potential beneficial/detrimental key microorganisms and possible implications of
    microbiome adaptation for practical farming
